Good day, but i had to kill a mouse.

Exciting day. New Times Miami liked some photos I sent them, so they sent me a contract to do some freelance work for them. I have a shoot for a clothing line release at Pink Ghost tomorrow. I hope I can get some shots in the paper and online. Also, ASG is playing this weekend, so I hope to get some good photos there.

I got a new lens today as well. Canon 50 mm 1.8. So far I love it. I cant wait to use it tomorrow night at the shoot.

I got another flow box from Ergophobia today too. It's always nice when a box of free clothes comes. I like most of it too, so thats a bonus.

So.. all and all it was a good day. Besides the fact that we finally caught the mouse that has been running free in Tara's apartment. One of the sticky traps that we put out finally worked. I though it would be a good idea to use those traps instead of the old fashioned type. I was wrong. I never thought about the mouse sitting there being stuck until it dies. pretty brutal.

So, Mr mouse, I'm sorry. Rest in peace...

Skull Candy

So, last night I shot some photos for an event at Automatic Slims. It was a party for Skull Candy. All and all it was an o.k. night. My friend Red, and his B-Boy crew (Raw Meat) were there, and I was pretty impressed. Only two Dj's showed up, but they were both pretty good. The guy who won remided me of someone out of Breakin' 2 "Electric Boogaloo. 

Anyway, I got a few good photos which I will post to Flickr. Here are a few for you to check out in the meantime. (I'm totally stealing Tara's polaroid frame idea for these.)

So I finally have a reason to blog I guess. I just got the Canon 40D DSLR that I have wanted for a million years. Hopefully I will be posting plenty of  photos in the future. Here are a few from a car show I went to today with Danny, Shannon, Torrey and Shea. I guess I'm pretty satisfied with the results. It was my first day experimenting and all. stay tuned for more...
